Shed Your Car Day 2002 has been a great success yet again. Further reports on the day, including images of the various events will appear on this site shortly!

The City of Fremantle, West Australia, joined UNCFD in organizing the second UN 2002 Car Free Day and Regional Practicum, in a series of events which will took place from 8-10 May.

As in other car-free days throughout the world, a section of the Fremantle city area was be closed to private vehicles for the day with a range of entertaining events to help people experience the benefits of a quieter, cleaner, safer Fremantle.
